The Lodge and Event Barn is located on 100 acres of gently rolling hills, wooded habitat with a network of trails, ponds and wide open fields. Surrounding WGF&L along the entire border is Guist Creek, where you can enjoy nature walks, camping, fishing or perhaps just the comfortable escape into nature. We have accommodations for ceremonies, family reunions, business meetings, church groups, holiday vacations and wellness retreats. Lastly, given our ideal location in between the two major cities in Kentucky, Louisville and Lexington. We have been a popular destination for people looking to experience the surrounding Bourbon Distilleries, Golf Courses and The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass.
Robert’s family has owned Walnut Grove Farm & Lodge for 30 years. Starting in 2005, the dairy and tobacco barn have been renovated into an Exclusive Rental and Event Venue. We have used our resources to develop a venue that offers reception and ceremony flexibility for bride/groom, family and friends. We pride ourselves on offering an indoor/outdoor space for your choice of vendors, decorations and sight options for ALL weddings.
